| Description: |
Along with general freight up front, X369 also had a huge chunk of military equipment, including tanks. Thanks to M558 blocking the train out where I was, I decided to work west a little bit to see if I could grab some shots on the other side of town. Thankfully, the train was moving slowly, and it was easy to catch up with it after the eastbound freight had passed. |

Another gap in the action allowed me to go south to see if I could find L343, which had gone OD when I was waiting on M369 at the overpass. Sure enough, they were at the landfill working when I got there, which is pretty much inaccessible. I could hear westbound traffic approaching on the B&O on the scanner. So I decided to count my losses and go back to the park. The sun finally fell beneath the cloud bank, giving some gorgeous golden light on I165 coming west, with another CP leader. |

I159 was originally going to be my final train of the day, but NS dispatch told a "055" they would be seeing 2 trains at Fostoria. Knowing 055 would be a special move of some sort, I decided to stick around and wait on it. That ended up being the right choice, as not only was 055 my 50th train, but it was a loaded pipe train. Pretty neat! |

And the last car was a small transformer on a suppressed flat. What a neat train, and great way to end the day at Fostoria! A total of 37 CSX trains and 13 NS trains! Most days when I come to Fostoria its more than slow, but not today! I would say that this north/central Ohio town can still be considered a very HOT hotspot! |
