Description:  The small wooden trestle in the foreground is called, I beleive, the Watering Creek branch or spur. Until it was taken out of service many years ago it served Campbell Payne Lumber near the intersection of Fort Ave and 12th St.

It was about noon when the old deck was removed and out of the way. Dimwit me thought everyone would knock off for lunch. I left and when I returned at 12:40p I was shagrined to see the new span was already in place! Oh well.
