Biddeford Station Commerce Park
Title:  Biddeford Station Commerce Park
Description:  The less interesting side of a geared loco. I believe that this was put here as an advert for the erstwhile Great Northern Narrow Gauge Railroad & Museum which was located here. Indeed one loco and a speeder are still here. See my museums and speeders albums respectively.

Anthony's Pier 4, Boston Back Bay
Title:  Anthony's Pier 4, Boston Back Bay
Description:  This loco has three numbers on it but its identity is unknown. The smoke box has 25, the boiler has a plate which identifies it as Engine Number 2 and the frame has a BAP plate which has been so painted that the number is unreadable. Anyone have any ideas?

Unknown Owner
Title:  Unknown Owner
Description:  This loco is on the lawn outside what appears to be a scrap dealer and/or a plant dealer. It has a plate in the cab which states that it was North Hudson Frontier Town No 4. I believe that this was a much loved western park nearby. It is a much rebuilt Plymouth D class loco - does anyone know its original identity? The yard has a carriage that looks like it came from there as well. I assume that they were purchased when the park closed and was auctioned off in 2004. The park also had a H K Porter which I believe is now at the Erie Canal Museum in Rome, NY.

Cargill Salt
Title:  Cargill Salt
Description:  In Jay Reed's indispensable book "Critters, Dinkys & Centercabs" he has a photo of an identical loco to this at this site which he states to be a CL-2 type loco and I am not going to argue with that.

Rosie's Den Roadhouse, Willow Beach
Title:  Rosie's Den Roadhouse, Willow Beach
Description:  This is located between Kingman AZ and Boulder City NV on the I93, just north of Dolan Springs. The loco looks to be home made with a car or truck engine as power. However it is very professionally done. I would be very interested to find out about its history. There is also a homemade caboose just out of the photo. Its all 30' gauge.
