Description:  Since the Oil Boom here in the western US, BNSF has been running quite a few trains over the Joint Line thru eastern Colorado. Here is another one headed back for reloading up in the Bakken Fields. (At least I think its the Bakken Fields)

Description:  BNSF SD40-2's 1766/1920/1760 mingle with BNSF 2828 in the yards. All of these units are not outdated power as of yet esp the 2828. Tho it may be rebuilt with newer components, the carbody beckons back to days long past for the type.And what about those SD40-2's. They are still ahnging on also

Waiting out the Fire
Title:  Waiting out the Fire
Description:  Late June found a good portion of vthe west side of Colorado Sprins burning. BNSF Trains were affected somewhat. Here at the north end of Kelker siding sits a nb waiting w/o a crew for clearence thru the area near the fire. The closets the fire's came to the tracks was near the AIr Force Academy. This is been noted as the most destructive Wild Fire in Colorado History. Many thanks go out to the Firefighters who fought this blaze and brought it under control.Without them more could have been lost.

Title:  Power for the Rock Train
Description:  UP units 9665 and 9650 are scheduled for use on the Rock Train. This being Rock & Rails unit Rock train from Parkdale Co on the old Tenn Pass Line to Drennan on the south end of Colorado Springs.
