MKT Shop Building |
Description: |
This was the main locomotive shop for the Missouri-Kansas-Texas Railroad, in Parsons, Kansas; and the locomotives on the left were RS3m 154, GP40 193 and GP38-2 315. The Union Pacific closed the shop following its purchase of Katy Industries in 1988, but the building is still there and is used by TM TRACK MACHINES, a division of Omaha Track Railroad Services. |
