Description:  this is a beautiful example of a Lima 2-8-2 Mikado type steam locomotive built in 1920 as MKT #863 (serial #5942, class H-2-b). The loco served for nearly 30 years before meeting the scrapper's torch in March of 1950 as the roster was taken over by diesels. Specs - 61" drivers, 195 psi boiler pressure, 28x30" cylinders, engine weight of 316,000 lb, tractive effort of 63,900 lb with a trailing booster adding 11,125 lb. Charles E Winters photo
