Built by GE in October of 1970 as PC 6701, it joined the Conrail roster as CR 6701 after the Penn Central collapse. Later it was renumbered CR 6901. The loco was still on the active roster in 1995 but no final disposition was found. At the Enola Yard, it was used as a hump engine part of the time. No photgrapher or exact day in March of 1980 was given. |
