Here is the second of two successive photos of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #650, an L-1S (2-8-0) "Mikado" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during December of 1916 and retired in October of 1956 after 40 years of faithful service. Note the "doghouse" and the trainphone apparatus on the tender's deck. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. |
