CSX O827, running engine light with SD70Ms 4695 and 4691 to Ridgewood where they will pick up 60 covered hoppers of phosphate bound for export at CSXs Eastern Terminal at Rockport. Normally this would not be that eventful of a movement, but right as I was shooting this, two gray foxes run across the track right in front of the locomotives. I have never seen a fox while railfanning before, let alone 2! They are typically a nocturnal creature. On the right is one of the many companies in the area supporting the phosphate industry, this one, a pipe manufacturer. |
