| In the late 1980s, LIRR decided to change their image from the blue and white that had been the scheme since the early 70s, back to the blue and yellow MTA colors they used when the MTA originally took over in the 1960s. Heres one of the MP 15s in the new paint. Note the first car of the train had the headlight plated over, a sign it was a former MU car converted to diesel service. |
