NS'S Alabama Division AGS South District
NS Westbound Coal Train 733 passing through 32nd Street Interlocking in Birmingham, Al. The normal routing for these Plant Scherer coal trains is through Atlanta & Chattanooga, but sometimes conjestion & crew availability forces NS to reroute the empty Plant Scherer coal trains through Birmingham as was the case on this day, Ive never seen the loaded Plant Scherer coal trains detour through Birmingham, Al. nor have ever heard of a loaded Plant Scherer coal train detouring through Birmingham, Al.
