| Union Pacific ES44AC 7964 (built in June 2012) has the honor of being designated as the 5000th Evolution Series Locomotive (GEVO) built by General Electric. Rather than a fancy paint scheme, it has tasteful blue panels on the nose sides and the edges of the radiator overhangs. This is yet another unique engine on the UP for which railfans should keep alert. |
