Crane & flat car
During the summer of 2011 CSX upgraded this line between Liverpool and Fulton, NY probably because they expect to do some serious hauling to and from Sunoco's ethanol facility at the old Miller Brewing plant in Fulton. This crane is on a short siding track in the village of Phoenix and was probably used to assist in the work that was done this summer. One more thing; CL 3043 is painted on this car too. Does CL stand for a former road ?

Michael Fullerton General Maybe it stands for 'Crane - Lightweight'? I've definitely seen some beefier cranes before. I dunno...simply a WAG. :-) 10/16/2014 4:10:07 PM
