| The crew of UP 7500 hauling a load of auto racks died. The engineer was brought up from Stockton, about 25 miles away. The conductor, seen here crossing the tracks, arrived later after being brought down from Roseville (about 70 miles away). The train can be seen in the far distance waiting and blocking several crossings. It will soon head to this end of the siding , pick up the conductor and be on its way. |
