Baldwin Locomotive Works built this "Pacific"-type unit in 1913 as a class P-3. It had the high stepping 76" drivers common to Pacifics, developed 210 psi, engine weight of 248,000 lb and overall engine+tender wheelbase of 65.71'. Date was sometime in 1947. This is a Max Miller photo. |
