| A new indoor transload facility at the Cane Creek Industrial Park in Fletcher, NC. There are no signs to show ownership or operators of the facility. The spur serving the facility is new, and end at the left side of this picture. The building is long enough to service two covered hoppers, and the access tracks go through the building and connect to the spur at both ends. The facility spur is almost at the end of the WilsonArt spur. UPDATE: This transload facility is owned and operated by the Nevada Sierra Brewery in Mills River, North Carolina, about 8 1/2 miles to the west. Grain hoppers are delivered by the Blue Ridge Southern Railroad from the Norfolk Southern yard in Asheville. The grain in transloaded from the hoppers to grain trucks which take the grain to the brewery. |
