PRR GG1 4874 - Pennsylvania RR  Contributor's Pick!       
Working the gritty, smoggy yard in this unknown location is GG1 #4874, built in 1938 by the Altoona shops. Note the engineer leaning out his window for a better view down the tracks. The date is a "guess-timation" as nothing was on the back but a Bruce Saylor photo credit. Not preserved - scrapped.

warren evans General Gary If you look at the top level of the Tri-Level Auto Rack you sse a thunderbird and on the middle you see a Lincoln both are 1968 models the correct year is 1968. The Power just cut away from the train and is going to head for house! 6/6/2023 12:50:13 PM
