Or where it used to be. OIBU and today's 51 cars pull up to the place where the Erie station once stood, and where I am standing now. It was a large structure, similar to most of the larger town Erie stations, such as Kent OH, or Port Jervis. It was razed shortly after CR was formed in 1976. The freight house still stands, seen beyond the Chenango St bridge. At this time in 1991, there were still offices in the building, but it too would meet the wrecking ball in the late 90s.
