McColl Siding
Within the city limit of McAllen; there once were packing sheds for citrus. Later more modern cold storage warehouses moved north to be closer to Hwy 281 for trucks. The last active shipper was loading scrap paper to recycling plants in Mexico. UP was not very thrilled with routing it to San Antonio back through Laredo. So UP added additional tariffs to kill it. Here RVSC passes the remains of the packing house.
