Here is page six of an eight-page article by Fred Westing entitled "The Great Days Of Steam And The Glory Of Pennsy Pacifics." It was published originally in the March 1965 issue of "Railroad" magazine, page 26. Top Photo: Shown here (L to R) is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3378 and another locomotive whose road number is not recorded. Both are "K" Class (4-6-2) "Pacifics." #3378 is a K-2S built in Juniata in 1911 and retired in November of 1938. Bottom Photo: Shown here is PRR engine #1120, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" constructed in Juniata in July of 1917, streamlined in 1940, and retired in December of 1954.
