Kansas City Southern NW2 4219 and SW1500 4344 were surrounded by red F-units at the railroad’s DERAMUS YARD near Shreveport, but by this time red switch engines were pretty rare! The 4219 was built as the 1219 while the 4344 was originally the 1504. Notice the single-sealed-beam headlight. |
