Chione. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in October of 1956. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #469, an L-1S (2-8-2) "Mikado" built in Juniata during July of 1916 and retired in February of 1958 after 42 years of faithful service. The numbers of the Baldwin-built switcher and the N-6 cabin car at the left are not recorded. |
