St. Louis - Slly been built in 1918 as 5 foot gauge for Russia but the order was cancelled due to the Russian Revolution. They were modified to run on standard gauge by putting wider tires on them and this can be seen in the photo. These wider tires overhand the rails quite a an Francisco (Frisco) 2-10-0 steam locomotive. These had originabit and cant be, or shouldnt be, used on switches with self guarded frogs. |
