RPCX 2263 - "Berlin"
Originally built by Pullman-Standard in 1956 as Union Pacific sleeper "Placid Lake" (later numbered #1504), the car landed on Amtrak and renumbered 2263. It was retired in October 1980 and sold in 1981 to the Indiana RY Museum in French Lick. (Yeah - a Hoosier connection!!!) The car was later sold to American European Express and renamed BERLIN. AOE reconfigured the car to 2 state rooms and 7 bedrooms, and after the end of AOE operations, it was sold to Kevin Moore.
