| Nice b&w roster shot of Waterloo SW900 #1 taken by George Votava. According to the meticulous notes on the negative sleeve by Mr. Votava, this loco was built by EMD in June of 1957 (serial #23475) and served the Waterloo until being sold to the Albert City Elevator Company in May of 1983. However, other photos in the RRPA data base make me think there were at least two WLO #1's, and one was a former Illinois Central switcher. This one was not. |
