Brown Stick Season and Stick Rail
It has been a relatively pleasant March by Wisconsin standards, but we've still got another month or so before the trees start to leaf out in earnest. This is UP LTA-41, trundling along the ancient ex-C&NW jointed rail of the Winona Subdivision between Wyeville and Tunnel City. It's down to a once-weekly extra board job out of Adams (eastbound counterpart LTA-42 runs on Fridays).
