| Although devoid of any identifying markings, the Heritage Rail Alliance webpage identifies this as NYC tank car #16039. It was built in December 1952. When doomed to the scrappers, it was donated by Sturgis Metal & Iron in 2006 to the National NYC RR Museum. |
