| Caught outside the ADM grain elevator in Tipton, IN, is this SW1 unit, LSIX #01. Originally built as St Joseph Terminal, SJT #1, by EMD in February of 1950, this plugger is still working the rails more than 60 years later. On the nose is the label "Atom Powered" - not sure what that means but is an interesting feature on the loco. An unknown Hoosier rail fan caught this sight. |
