| The St Louis-San Francisco did a fantastic job of converting an older 1917 Baldwin 4-6-2 Pacific locomotive into this more powerful 4-6-4 Hudson. Although no date was provided, since the rebuilt loco still has the wide side valence it would place it in the early to mid 1940's. Later it would be removed. The loco was scrapped in December of 1951. hudson specs - serial #45512, 74" drivers, 225 psi boiler pressure, 26x28" cylinders, engine weight of 360,960 lb, tractive effort of 48,919 lb.
