| Unfortunately, this is the best image I will get of Caltrain 938 in Amtrak paint. The AEM-7 was being stored at San Franciscos 4th & King station along with sister unit 929. The two units were hard to access, and so the only image I would get would be from the car as I passed. Towards the end of 2021, the unit was moved to Caltrains CEMOF facility, and was repainted into a new Caltrain paint scheme. The engine was last spotted on January 28 returning to CEMOF from a ceremony in San Francisco. Behind 938 is Caltrain cab-car 113. |
