Here is a photo that was taken near Broad Street Station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the late 1890's. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1178, a D-10 (4-4-0) "American" built in the Altoona Machine Shops in 1890, then sold to the Coudersport & Port Allegheny Railroad and renumbered "4" in 1906. ("EBTshop06"; #1 of 1)
