Here is page 13 of a 14-page article by Jerry A. Pinkepank entitled "How To Survive In The Diesel Biz: The Story Of Alco ~ The Durable Competitor." It was published originally in the December 1965 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 52. Top Photo Caption: "Lehigh Valley, a loyal Alco customer in steam and diesel, budgeted 2 million dollars last year for a dozen low-nose Century 420 hoods in a new color scheme." [Note: It seems to me that there are categorical errors in some of the text on this page: some "DL" model designations should actually be "RS" designators.]
