MP 2-8-0 #118 - Missouri Pacific
Built by Alco-Brooks in October of 1909, MP 2-8-0 Consolidation #118 served the MP line for nearly 42 years before being retired on 9/4/1951. One interesting side note - it was given a baldwin boiler from MP #161 sometime in its life. No exact date was given for the photo so an approximate one was used. Specs - coal burner, 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 24x30" cylinders, engine wt of 219,000 lb, tractive effort of 46,630 lb. C.C. Grayson photo
