CS 2-8-0n #60 - Colorado & Southern         
This appears to be one of the first photos of Colorado and Southern 2-8-0n #60 after it was put on display in Idaho Springs, CO. It was built by the Rhode Island Locomotive Works in March of 1886 originally as Utah & Northern #263. In September of 1890, it moved over to the Denver, Leadville & Gunnison roster as their #263. Upon retirement in May of 1941, it was put on permanent display in Idaho Springs, CO. Original specs - 3' narrow gauge, 37" drivers, modest 150 psi boiler pressure, 16x18" cylinders, very modest engine weight of 71,030 lb and very modest tractive effort of 15,816 lb. No photographer was listed for the photo.
