927 Departing San Jose
MP36PH-3C 927 shoves a northbound express train under the signal bridge at Control Point Alameda. The signal bridge is home to 7 "tri-light" signal heads, so named because of their triangular lens arrangement. Just two monts after this image was taken, the ex-Southern Pacific tri-lights would be gone, replaced with modern searchlight signals.
