After shooting the train at Siloam, we stopped by the house to grab drinks and a pit stop, and off we went. For some reason, a lot of people think running 10 MPH under the speed limit on a dry day with little traffic is just fine. I found one of them on the way to Summers on Ark 59. Usually I can beat a train to Westbville, but not when some bonehead is going 45 MPH on a road that has a lot of curves and few passing zones. The train was on the crossing when we got there, and I beat it to Baron, getting this somewhat shady photo on the Barren Fork Creek bridge. |
