Western Maryland had 2 BL2s. It made two slugs for the BL2s to mother out of spare parts. A close look at this slug shows EMD trucks and most of an ALCO body. Clearly the BL2s needed more traction to perform yard switching duty, as seen here. Where else can you see a BL2 parenting a slug but here? That last phrase ought to get me an "Editor's Choice."
