This is a GE bi-polar locomotive built in 1919 for the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad (aka the Milwaukee Road), originally numbered MILW #10250 . In 1939, it was renumbered E1 and later rebuilt unsuccessfully by the Milwaukee Shops in 1953. The loco lasted until 1962 when it was hauled to Seattle and scrapped. This is an E.J. Roberts photo. |
