CAGY 614 |
Description: |
This picture was taken from the back of the car "King Cotton", a Columbus & Greenville passenger car. This picture was taken on a passenger special that ran between Greenwood and Winona for one week each spring for a few years during the early 90's. These specials conisted of a few passenger cars and 2 C&G engines. The train was sponsored by a group of people out of Carrollton. In this picture, they are in the process of running around the train to go back to Carrollton. This siding is just east of the IC diamond. This line is currently out of service between Greenwood and West Point. |
