Here's another fine example of the artistry of the Great Northern Shops who starting in 1925 took older L-6 class 2-6-6-2 locos and rebuilt them into powerful 2-8-2 Mikados like this GN #3358. Specs - class O-6, 56" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 28x32" cylinders, engine weight of 320,100 lb, tractive effort of 76,160 lb. No date was given for the photo so an approximate one was used.
