Nice action view of the Chicago Great Western cow-calf pair in action. The pair was built by EMD in July of 1949 and later went to the CNW roster. The photo comes from an original negative taken by an unknown Chicago rail fan whose negative was incorrectly labeled as Pullman Junction. Several in his set of negatives were labeled incorrectly. With the help of several viewers and especially Robert Anderson (see comments below), the location has been re-labled as St. Paul, MN. The date is approxmiate. No photographer name was listed. |
